Casas Sao Juliao Apartment - Lisbon

The apartment was comfortable next to the main square at the waterfront and the old town and major attractions and transport, that's what we were expecting. Location was incredible and good, close to the city center. Got private bathroom with bidet. The building was nice.

Always choose this place for its helpful staff and perfect amenities: Wi-Fi, dryer, electric kettle, cookware, flat-screen TV. Lift, express check-in/out, cots, and no pets/smoking on site. First stay, staff helped me find my way. Coming back for Christmas. No regrets!

all in all, it is wonderful base for staying in lisbon. good to have a shower, a hairdryer and bath sheets in the bathroom. the location is central, 10 mins walking distance to bus stop.

Excellent Location: the apartment was situated conveniently, within walking distance of major attractions and transportation. It was close to the main square at the waterfront and adjacent to the charming Alfama neighborhood. Fully Equipped: the apartment was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a clothes washer/dryer which was a welcome addition. Everything was in good condition and working properly. Comfortable Bed: the bed in the apartment was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city.

Low Ceilings: Being over 6 foot tall, some of the doorways in the apartment had low ceilings due to its location on the top floor. It took some time to get used to and we bumped our heads a few times.

I couldn't have asked for a better value for my money at Casas Sao Juliao. The room was fully equipped and in great condition, with a comfortable bed and a bonus washer/dryer. The location was excellent, close to the main square and lots of eating options nearby.

One thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was a wider variety of fresh fruit options.

The best feature of Casas Sao Juliao is its unbeatable location. It's just a short walk from Praca do Comercio and conveniently close to the restaurant district, the old town, and Alfama. Public transportation, mini-markets, wine shops, and restaurants are all within a few minutes' walk. The apartment is also very clean, with regular linen and towel changes, and it is well-equipped with modern amenities like a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, and clothes washer/dryer. The building is secure, requiring a key or fob for entry.

Felt completely happy, no complaints whatsoever.

Maria, the host, was incredibly helpful and kind, even allowing us to stay later than the usual check-out time. I would highly recommend this place for a great stay in Lisbon.

We had a wonderful stay at Casas Sao Juliao. The location was perfect, close to the city center and many restaurants and shops. The apartment was warm, bright, and well-equipped for both short and long stays. The host was responsive and apologized for the delay in opening the door. Although the ceilings were low, we were mindful and didn't have any issues. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as some dirty towels and a sewer smell in the building, the overall experience was excellent. We enjoyed exploring Lisbon and would definitely recommend this apartment.
